The site is prepared and the slurry wall and ring beam are constructed.
The basement that will house the automated storage and retrieval system and the mezzanine level mechanical room are dug.
The basement and ground floors are put in.
The bridge from Mansueto to Regenstein is built, the pathway through Regenstein to the bridge is constructed, and the interior work in Regenstein is finished.
The dome is constructed.
The automated storage and retrieval system is assembled on the basement level.
Finishing work is completed and materials from campus libraries are loaded into the ASRS. Faculty, students, staff, and visiting scholars will begin using the new Library in Spring 2011.
