The University of Chicago Library is pleased to offer UChicago faculty, students, staff, alumni, and their guests a behind-the-scenes look at the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library, including a trip to the underground automated storage and retrieval facility. Tours will end at the Special Collections Research Center Exhibition Gallery.
When registering and bringing guests, please be aware that Library policy does not allow children under 10 years of age into the basement of Mansueto. Children 10-15 years old must each be accompanied by an adult. Young adults age 16 year and over need only be accompanied by a single adult
During Spring Quarter 2013, tours will be offered every other Friday at noon from April 12 to June 7.
Update: As of now, all Spring Quarter tours are fully booked. You may sign up on a waiting list by following the instructions below.Tours meet in the lobby of the Regenstein Library in front of the Ask a Librarian desk. Be sure to bring your UChicago card or library card in order to gain admission to the tour.
Alumni who do not have a library card and other visitors should arrive a few minutes early and visit the ID & Privileges office to obtain a day pass.
At this time, tours are open only to University of Chicago faculty, students, staff, alumni, and their guests.

If you are a UChicago faculty member, student, staff member, or alumnus/a and would like to bring a guest or guests, please ask each of your guests to register for the tour separately.
